Manchester’s Anna-Marie Odubote aka Anz is here to debut her label OTMI with a fresh-squeezed double-track delight. Slick synth lines and a tight percussive core lead listeners through the neon streets of ‘Unravel In The Designated Zone’ with the B-side ‘Morphing Into Brighter’ taking a moodier approach with chopped breaks and silk-spun chords that float past on cushions of rolling fog. OTMI, short for Otras Mitades, was distilled from “mi otra mitad de naranja,” a favorite phrase of Odubote, which translates to “the half of my orange;” here’s to the next batch of juice. 🍍
